How to enable SSL automation with CDN and how it works

Hostaday’s CDN (Content Delivery Network) includes built-in SSL automation to secure data as it travels across the globe .

  • How it Works: When you enable CDN, the SSL is deployed at the "edge" servers. This provides Edge-to-User encryption, meaning the connection between your visitor and the nearest CDN node is fully secured.
  • Enabling Automation: In your account dashboard, navigate to the CDN settings under the Security tab . Toggle the SSL/HTTPS switch to "On". The system will automatically issue a certificate for the CDN network, ensuring your content is served over a secure connection without manual configuration.
