How can I revoke my certificate?

Revoking a certificate is a permanent action typically taken if your Private Key is compromised or if the certificate is no longer needed for security reasons .

  1. Log in to your Hostaday Dashboard and navigate to the SSL Certificates list.
  2. Select the certificate you wish to revoke and look for the Revoke option in the management settings.
  3. Warning: Once revoked, the certificate cannot be reinstated, and browsers will show a security warning to your visitors. If you just need to move to a new server, consider Reissuing instead of revoking .
