I completed DCV but the order is not issued (Brand Validation)

Sometimes, an order is held for "Brand Validation" even after you complete the Domain Control Validation (DCV).

  • This happens if your domain contains keywords that trigger a manual security review by Sectigo.
  • For Organization Validation (OV) or Extended Validation (EV), the CA must also verify the legal existence of your business.
  • What to do: Check your email for additional instructions from the CA or contact their support to provide any requested documentation.
