How to set up an Application-specific Password for Private Email

If you have Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled on your Hostaday account , some older email clients or third-party apps may not support it directly. To stay secure:

  1. Log in to your Hostaday Webmail.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Accounts and find the Application Passwords section.
  3. Generate a unique password for each application (e.g., Outlook, mobile mail).
  4. Use this specific password instead of your main mailbox password to sign in to that app. This ensures your primary credentials remain protected.
