Managing DNSSEC for domains pointed to Custom DNS

When using Custom DNS (hosting with a third party), DNSSEC must be configured at your DNS provider .

  • Step 1: Enable DNSSEC at your hosting/DNS provider to generate the DS (Delegation Signer) records.
  • Step 2: Log in to your Hostaday account, go to Advanced DNS, and find the DNSSEC section.
  • Step 3: Click Add New Record and enter the DS record details (Key Tag, Algorithm, Digest Type, and Digest) provided by your host. This links the security chain between the registry and your nameservers.
