How to change upload filesize limit in WordPress multisite

In a WordPress Multisite network, the upload limit is controlled both by the server and the network settings .

  • Server Level: Go to cPanel > Select PHP Version > Options and increase upload_max_filesize and post_max_size.
  • Network Level: Log in to your WordPress Network Admin, go to Settings > Network Settings, and update the Max upload file size field (in KB). Both settings must be aligned to take effect on your Hostaday server .
