How do I activate an SSL certificate?

Activating your Hostaday SSL certificate is a mandatory step after purchase to start securing your site.

  1. Log in to your Hostaday Dashboard and go to the SSL Certificates section.
  2. Click the Activate button next to your new certificate.
  3. Paste your CSR (Certificate Signing Request) code generated from your server.
  4. Select the Domain Control Validation (DCV) method (Email, HTTP, or DNS).
  5. Submit the activation request. Once the DCV is completed, your certificate will be issued.
