Canceled – Domain is locked or is not yet 60 days old

Transfer cancellations often occur due to two common restrictions :

  • Registrar Lock: Your domain is still "Locked" at your current provider. You must log in there and set the status to "Unlocked" before transferring to Hostaday.
  • 60-Day Rule: According to ICANN policy, a domain cannot be transferred if it was registered or previously transferred within the last 60 days. In both cases, you will need to resolve the lock or wait for the 60-day period to pass before trying again.
