How do I set up host records for a domain?

If your domain is pointed to Hostaday BasicDNS, PremiumDNS, or FreeDNS, you can manage your host records directly from your account .

  1. Log in to your Hostaday Dashboard and go to Domain List.
  2. Click Manage next to your domain and select the Advanced DNS tab.
  3. In the Host Records section, click Add New Record.
  4. Select the record type, enter the host (e.g., @ for the main domain), and the value.
  5. Save changes. Propagation typically takes 30 minutes to 48 hours.
