How to configure a DD-WRT router for Hostaday Dynamic DNS

Many routers with DD-WRT firmware support custom Dynamic DNS. To configure it:

  1. Open your router's web interface and go to Setup > DDNS.
  2. Set DDNS Service to Custom.
  3. In the DYNDNS Server field, enter dynamicdns.hostaday.com.
  4. Use your domain as the Username and your DDNS Password as the password.
  5. Enter your host (e.g., @ or www) and save settings.
