How to change PHP version and update PHP extensions on Shared servers

Hostaday Shared Hosting allows you to switch between multiple PHP versions easily.

  1. Navigate to cPanel > Software > Select PHP Version.
  2. Choose your desired version from the dropdown menu (e.g., 7.4, 8.1, 8.2) and click Set as current.
  3. To update extensions, click the Extensions tab. Here you can check or uncheck modules like mysqli, imagick, or gd to enable or disable them instantly .
