How to Create a WordPress Staging Site

A Staging Site is a clone of your live website used for testing updates without affecting your visitors .

  1. Log in to your Hostaday cPanel and go to Softaculous Apps Installer.
  2. Click on the WordPress icon and find your current installation.
  3. Look for the Staging (copy) icon next to your site URL.
  4. Follow the prompts to create a sub-environment (e.g., staging.yourdomain.com).
  5. Once you finish testing, you can use the "Push to Live" feature to sync changes to your main site .
