How to install WHMCS manually or via Softaculous

There are two primary ways to install WHMCS on your Hostaday server:

  • Using Softaculous (Recommended): Log in to cPanel, open Softaculous Apps Installer, search for WHMCS, and click Install Now. This handles the database creation and file setup automatically .
  • Manual Installation: Download the files from the official WHMCS site, upload them to your server via FTP, create a MySQL database in cPanel, and run the /install/install.php script in your browser. You will need your license key to complete the setup.
