How to set up a DNS zone on a server without cPanel

If you choose not to use cPanel, you can manage your DNS using Hostaday’s FreeDNS or PremiumDNS .

  1. Log in to your account and go to the Domains section.
  2. Select your domain and navigate to Advanced DNS .
  3. Add an A Record pointing to your server's Public IP address.
  4. To manage full zones (like MX or TXT records), use the Hostaday DNS Manager interface. This ensures your domain resolves to your server without needing a local control panel to host the DNS .
