Why would I need to reissue my certificate?

  • Reissuing an SSL certificate is a security measure that allows you to replace your current certificate with a new one using a different CSR . You might need this if:
    • You moved your website to a new hosting server that requires a new private key.
    • You suspect your Private Key has been compromised.
    • You need to change or add domain names (for Multi-Domain certificates).
    • You have lost the original private key generated during the first installation.
