How to reissue and renew your SSL certificate

    • Reissue: You should reissue your SSL if you change your hosting server, lose your private key, or change your domain details . This process is free and can be started from your Dashboard. It requires generating a new CSR.
    • Renewal: SSL certificates have an expiration date. You can renew your certificate starting 30 days before it expires. Simply purchase a renewal in your Hostaday account, reactivate it with a new CSR, and complete the DCV process again to ensure continuous protection .
