How to configure ActiveSync (Exchange) account on Android 9.x.x

For Android 9 (Pie) users using the Gmail or Samsung Mail app:

  1. Go to Settings > Accounts > Add account > Exchange.
  2. Enter your full Hostaday email address and select Manual Setup.
  3. Enter your password.
  4. For Server settings, enter privateemail.com in the server field.
  5. Ensure the security type is set to SSL/TLS.
  6. Confirm the remote security administration prompts to complete the setup .
