Understanding Domain Transfer Statuses

  • Once a transfer starts, you can monitor it in your Dashboard. Common statuses include:
    • Pending: The transfer has been initiated but not yet confirmed.
    • Awaiting Release: The transfer is approved, and we are waiting for your old registrar to release the domain (usually takes 5-7 days).
    • Rejected: The transfer was canceled (often due to an incorrect Auth code or a locked status).
    • Completed: The domain is now successfully in your Hostaday account.
