How to configure Caldav/Carddav on Android

Android devices typically require a third-party application to support CalDAV and CardDAV protocols .

  1. Download and install an app like DAVx5 from the Google Play Store.
  2. Open the app and select Add Account using the URL and credentials option.
  3. Use the following server address: https://dav.privateemail.com .
  4. Enter your full Hostaday email address and password.
  5. Choose the contacts and calendars you wish to sync. Your data will now appear in your native Android apps.
