How to back up and restore emails in cPanel Webmail

In Hostaday cPanel Webmail (Roundcube), managing your data is straightforward :

  • Backup: Select the emails you want to save, click the More icon, and choose Export. This will download the messages in .eml format.
  • Restore: To restore, go to the destination folder, click the More icon, and select Import. Upload your .eml files to bring them back into your inbox.
  • Tip: For full mailbox backups, you can also use the Backup Wizard in your main cPanel dashboard .
