How to enable, disable, and manage Domain Privacy

You can manage your privacy settings directly from your Hostaday Dashboard.

  • Enable/Disable: Go to your Domain List, click Manage next to the domain, and toggle the Domain Privacy status.
  • Contact Info: You can change your domain's contact information even if privacy is enabled. Hostaday will keep the new data in our secure records while keeping the public Whois hidden.
  • Propagation Time: It typically takes 24 to 48 hours for the Whois database to fully update and hide your personal information after applying the service, due to global DNS caching
