How to Create a Subdomain for my Domain

A subdomain is a prefix added to your main domain (e.g., blog.yourdomain.com).

  1. Navigate to Advanced DNS for your domain in the Hostaday dashboard.
  2. Click Add New Record.
  3. Choose the type (usually A Record for an IP or CNAME for a hostname).
  4. In the Host field, enter the prefix only (e.g., enter blog for blog.yourdomain.com).
  5. Enter the target IP or hostname in the value field and save.
